An Historic Event

So, today is pretty historic. I managed to sneak upstairs to sit and watch part of the speech in one of our conference rooms with satellite tv (who knew we even had that?! HD to boot!). I missed the oath of office but I caught the second half of the speech. He is a pretty fantastic speaker. He's got his work cut out for him, and I hope that he is as effective as so many hope he will be. Whatever happens, it is a pretty amazing day (and few months). I've never seen people actually excited about a new president or about political process at all. That is something really special.
